In this competitive buyer's market, it's imperative your listing stands out. Here are some things you can do to make a buyer choose your property:
Start packing. Put away all your personal belongings incuding family photos, refrigerator artwork, and at least half of your decorations. Your buyers need to be able to picture themselves living in the home.
Do a thorough cleaning. Making your home sparkle adds appeal. Don't forget those windows!
Fix the obvious. If your hallways and corners are nicked or scuffed, do a little touch up to freshen your home's look. Complete all minor repairs of items that would otherwise turn buyers away.
Hire a professional stager. Professional stagers have that special talent to showcase your home's positive attributes. A staged home can sell faster, and for more money, than a similar home that's not staged.
Suspend nightly rentals. If you rent your condominium or townhome out on a nightly basis, suspending your rentals ensures buyers can get into your property to view it. If they can't view it, they can't buy it.
